Walter. I zoomed in and looked at all of the weeds in the yard and none of them have any seed sprouts. Its more like a grassy weed that stays low and branches out. kinda looks like st augusteen but not as viney. Maybe you can zoom in on pic.

trgolfer54 are you using this Spectracide product or another http://www.spectracide.com/~/media/Spectracide/Files/Product%20Labels/Weed%20Stop/071121957023.ashx ? MSMA may be the active for older purchases of this product but more recent purchases would include Quinclorac as the active for crabgrass control. Also try to pull up the suspected crabgrass. Does it pull up with the roots or does it break of in the soil?

Sure looks like crabgrass to me plus the added bonus of some nutgrass at the top left of center.
