Q: These two Knock Out roses were planted two months ago. They get full sunlight from sunrise until 3:00 pm. The blooms are now “bleaching out” to white.
A: I talked to rose expert Ryan Tilley, who theorizes that since the plants are still young they may not be getting the nutrients needed to keep blooms solidly colored for a long time.
Ryan also said that he sees roses that get at least a few hours of afternoon shade having better flower color than those growing in blasting sunshine all day.
I think your’s will improve gradually.
