Q: I have had a sago palm for seven years. We got tired of dragging it inside every winter so we planted it near our pool. I was worried about the cold weather, so I want to show you the little greenhouse that my husband built for it.
It has a thermostatically controlled heater, so that if the temp goes below 40 degrees, it kicks in . What do you think?
A: I think your husband is a great American and an ingenious man. As long as the greenhouse doesn’t get too hot on a sunny winter day, it should work great.
Let me know if you run into any problems.
