Spider Mite – Control Indoors
Q: My daylilies have been growing inside all winter and now are getting splotchy and have lost many of their leaves. The leaves keep trying to come back but either are attacked or come up twisted. What insecticide would be safe inside and work well on the flowers? Would insecticidal soap be enough? Should I go ahead and move them outside or wait until they are healthy again?
A: See Houseplant Insect Control.
But if you’re growing daylilies on a large scale you should probably invest in some Avid or one of the chemicals mentioned here.
