Wood Rot – At Base of Tree
Q: I have a number of trees in my wood lot that have various mushrooms and rots coming out of them.
Is there any way to cure this?
A: Dozens of fungi attack hardwood and conifer trees in Georgia. When the fungi are “happy”, they send out a fruiting body – which is what you see attached to the trunk and root base.
