climbing, tunnel making, storytelling, giggling, thinking,

and playing. We are one of the few camps that is geared
for such diverse ages and we are proud to offer such a
dynamic program.
Camp is set up for ages: 3 years- 9 years of age.
Four years ago we achieved certification as "Wildlife
Habitat" through Georgia Wildlife Federation.

exciting program that explores animals that call the
Chattahoochee River home, focusing on a unique animal
and a unique feature of life monthly. All ages. Wednesday,

Each trip is led by CNC naturalists, and offers a unique
introduction to the ecology of the Chattahoochee River.
Participants are expected to be an active part of this
program. Register at scheduling@chattnaturecenter.com

least one week in advance of trip. Every Fri, Sat & Sun in
August at 6:00 PM – dusk, plus Sat AM at 8:30. Ages 6 &

Nighthawk Migration – Bird watching at CNC

Join CNC volunteer and Master Birder, Stacy Zarpentine,
for an evening of bird watching and migration. The
Common Nighthawk migratory route passes right over
CNC. This is also a great opportunity to see other native
species that are active at dusk.

Palisades Canoe Float & Late Summer Flora

Bring your own boat or use a CNC canoe and join us for a
leisurely float on the Chattahoochee River. The area offers
a great diversity of habitats and includes oak-hickory
forest, steep north facing slopes, mesic ravine forest, and
floodplain forest. Bring a pack lunch, water and snacks
